Bye-bye Blues Tea!
I love this luxurious tea in the mornings or when I’m having guest! It is packed with ingredients that will heal the soul! Both the curcumin from the powerful turmeric root, as well as the saffron have been studied and believed to be effective in treating depression!
4 cups water
1 pinch saffron strands (10-12 strands)
3 inches fresh ginger root (chopped)
1 inches fresh turmeric root (chopped)
1-2 cinnamon sticks
2-4 tablespooons honey (optional)
In a saucepan add water, cinnamon stick, chopped ginger, chopped turmeric, and honey (optional). Bring to a boil.
Turn heat to low and then add saffron. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Strain into teacups and serve!
